Nice, this is great! Displays a nice atmosphere perfect for a long drawn out battle. Can't really fault much here, although I have to say it borderlines on repetition, if it was any longer or less varied then I would begin to say it was a bit too repetitive. Nevertheless good job.

Zafrece responds:

ya i was fearing that to be honest. It did tend to be a bit drawn out just bc i had to basicly blend 2 totaly different styles and songs into one molded song. Since i wasn't sure how to do that i kinda let it be a tad more drawn out than i should have. (note taken however) Thanks for the feed back.

Gotta agree with Johnfn somewhere below me, the structural repetitiveness can ruin a good song by making it boring because we are listening to roughly the same thing for most of the song. It sounds good on first listen but I can't imagine listening to this many times. Maybe you should try my additive form challenge for your next song, like i said it's just for fun, it does become a learning experience as you get to try so many different ways to keep a song interesting.

ForeverBound responds:

hey thanks for the review, also I'm gonna try to be more creative in the song structure

This sounds strangely relaxing and it's a good use of traditional and cultural instruments. I'm not sure about the Djembe and Duduk but just for future reference, it's impossible for a didgeridoo to change pitch since it is basically just a wooden tube. With some modification by putting some holes in the tube you may be able to make it play more pitches but then it becomes a giant flute of sorts. Not judging you on this but I thought it might be some handy information in case you use a didgeridoo again. As for the Taiko, I'm pretty sure it's just a big drum so it's not easy to use it wrong.

It's nice to hear something from you after a while, just a little bit short though. But thanks for sharing this piece. ~Raymoclaus

Phyrnna responds:

Thanks for the review!
The didgeridoo can change in pitch based on playing style. Of course, there's never a need to be limited to just one.

Mooaar!

Complextro should be a lot bigger, 100% of the complextro I've heard is the best. I agree it should have a different name but oh well, and I also agree that the outro drags on a bit but only if I'm concentrating on the song. Great song as usual, and nice album too XD I downloaded the whole thing.

Indigorain responds:

Sweet! Thanks for the kind words, and of course the awesome review!
I must agree, the outro drags on a little too long indeed, but I have to say I do like the title as it is.
Anyway, it's just a matter of opinion, so thanks for sharing it! :D
Thanks again for the review!

Hmm...

I get the feeling that you are very influenced by dimrain47 in this song, am I right? Nevertheless this is a great song that is easy to listen to. I liked the guitar bits, would have been nice if you had gone further into that though. Also the bass line got a little repetitive, the only thing that stopped it from boring was that it was original and sounded good anyway.

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thank you. And for this song, I was very heavy on that dimrain sound.

Beautiful

I found you because the guy below this review has nominated you to be on the underdog list in the audio forum. And I have to say that you certainly do qualify and deserve to make it onto the list. I want to agree with the guy below me that the melodies are amazing but I don't want this review to be the same as the one below so I will say this:
This song along with the melody has great harmonies, excellent use of choirs and possibly strings. Also the reverse cymbal sounded amazingly high quality for the transitions. This is going on my very small "favourite list".

Troisnyx responds:

Thank you so much! ^_^ That was a cymbal roll, by the way, but not a very wet one.

Better 8bit

Good, this is much more 8bitish than some other 8bit version I have heard.

phlim2 responds:

It's probably because I made it on true NES music-producing software, not that crappy GSXCC, or whatever it's called. xD

Nice simple melodies

I have to disagree with the person below, all the melodies are fine, just the sounds seem awkward.

bryce responds:

thats chiptune for u :_)

Melodic

I love the melody, it sounds very cool while still being subtle.

lazy-dave responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!

!VVOVV!

This is pretty good, sure I agree that it needs a bit of work but only a miniscule amount, in fact this is probably fine by itself.

P.S. sucks when you get zerobombed doesn't it, here let me help with that 5/5.
0.93 to 2.23

AetherX responds:

Thanks for the review! I have some things I'd like to do to finish it up, namely make it longer.

Thanks for the anti-zerobomb as well. Every little bit helps :D
